The Growing the Future project was officially launched on a beautiful Sunday in conjunction with Womens Day the 9th of August 2009. The event was very well attended by various local friends and supporters, as well as representatives from our major sponsors the DEG, and various officials. The opening ceremony was led by the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Derek Hanekom, who had the honour of cutting the carrot ribbon and opening the project.

Were very proud to welcome the 8 ladies who are on the course this year, and thank everyone who has made the project possible.
