The Flower Valley Conservation Trust was set up in April 1999 by Flora and Fauna International (FFI – www.fauna-flora.org) to influence bio-diversity conservation and community empowerment in the Cape Floral Kingdom, and promote ways in which wild fynbos resources can be sustainably utilised bio diversity and conservation projects.

The Grootbos Foundation fully supports Flower Valley in their conservation efforts and we are very happy to be associated with the Flower Valley Conservation Trust. It is vital that organisations with aligned objectives can work together and collaborate effectively.
The trust is highly focussed on the the promotion of wild fynbos for conservation, social development and early childhood development projects. With the help of the Grootbos Foundation, the Flower Valley conservation initiatives such as biodiversity and conservation projects are making a big difference to not only to Flower Valley, but the community surrounding the ecosystem.
