Grootbos Foundation creating economic viability in the Overstrand

The Siyakhula Careers, Employability and Enterprise Programme funded by ABSA is reaping amazing results and success stories abound.

The following budding young entrepeneurs have decided to test their business skills under supervision of the Grootbos Foundation most dedicated project manager, Simone Davel.

Sandra is a Small Business Owner of Nilla Bakery and she sells at the Hermanus Market where you can buy or decorate a delicious cupcake and find out more about her journey through our Entrepreneurship Programme.

Lunga is a passionate carpentry Entrepreneur from Albert Myburgh High in Bredasdorp who is gaining workplace experience at Joshua Tree thanks to Simon and his Team at Joshua Tree who took Lunga under their wing.

Nkosithandile Xakana one of our Gansbaai Academia Entrepreneurs is smiling ear to ear with his Mouth Watering Steaks business branding. Nkosithandile had a Mouth Watering Steak success selling out of all his cooked beef, pork and chicken. He was a cut above his competition in Stanford by spicing and marinading his meat.
