December marked our 14th year of the Green Futures Horticulture training programme and the second intake of our housekeeping training. To date we have had 130 graduates through the Green Futures horticulture training. This year again we had a successful year where students grew, developed and progressed through their studies and have entered into an exciting new world of opportunities.
We were thrilled to have the support of the Old Mutual team this year in supporting our Green Futures horticulture programme and the Datio Foundation’s assistance with our housekeeping programme. It was great to have Millicent Maroga, Louise Jones and Jens and Margarit Jacobs partner us on this journey.
Apart from our adult education programmes we run, some of our permanent staff also excelled at their studies. Viola Siyotywa received a distinction in her Microsoft course and Bulelani Bashe received a distinction in his landscaping course. Congratulations to all!
